We are a family of 4 that enjoys traveling a lot.

This was our first trip to Russia and Moscow and Viator and Friendly Local Guides did a great job with this tour. Tatiana and Lucy were excellent guides who knew the city very well. Both spoke very fluent English. We particularly enjoyed those little stories and legends about places that we visited. Their suggestions of itineraries, places to eat and where to shop were highly appreciated.

They were really friendly and made the tour very enjoyable!

We were a bit hesitant about visiting Russia, with the political events transpiring around us, but we were immediately put at ease by Anastasia. She was a real honey and tried her best to show us as much of her beloved city as we could take in. We walked about 30 km in the 2 days, but never noticed as we were entranced by the beauty surrounding us. She took us to unforgettable places like St Basil's, the Kremlin with it's magnificant cathedrals. What a surprise! Then the armoury, which was breath-taking. GUM was amazing, around the fantastic Metro stations and eventually to old Arbat street where she steered us away from the normal exorbitantly priced souvenir shops. She arranged restaurants to cater for my wife's gluten and lactose intolerances, which had been a major worry. Our very best thanks to Anastasia. She was amazing and made our trip a trip of a lifetime.

We had planned a four day stopover in Moscow as part of a larger trip and wanted more than just a look at Red Square and a few monuments. We were looking for a glimpse of the real Moscow, where people live, how they live, what do they do and we felt that a private tour would enable us to get to know the guide plus we could be more flexible in where we went. Julia on day one and Liana on day two both delivered up to our expectations.
We toured neighborhoods, small parks, the amazing Metro stations, the Space Park, stopping along the way to explore Pushkin's history, neighborhood food markets, Stalins Seven Sisters and on and on.
Both guides were knowledgeable, able to explain in a straightforward way the things we were visiting and went out of their way to make sure we saw everything.
We enjoyed our time with them, would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get a feeling for Moscow which we feel that we did.

I had a very pleasant experience with this 2-day walking tour, and It was wonderful to be able to cover most sightseeing sites in the citye.g. Kremlin and Red Square, Cathedrals, famous streets and many interesting historical buildings, parks and hills, last but least, the legendary Moscow Metro !! Oh don't miss the metro!! It was the most beautiful and classic underground system I have ever experienced in my life ! Both guides were excellent, they were very professional and considerate, one of the girl named Yuliya even provided me with a list of places and routes that were worth to visit after the 2-day tour, since I was staying in Moscow for almost a week. Overall this is a tour I would definitely recommend to future visitors!! Hao Z

I only had 3 days in Moscow but my 2 day tour, I can say, we had covered most of the highlights of Moscow. I was blessed that I came on the week Moscow was celebrating its anniversary. My tour guides were both excellent and beautiful...very informative. I had a very relaxing tour because of this 2. On my first day, Gela brought me to Arbat Street where Pushkin lived and mind you... a good coffee shop along that street. Then she took me to Alexander Garden and Red Square where you can see the unique building and church designs. We went also to Gum, a nice mall in Moscow. On my 2nd day, Tanya brought me to the subway. I was impressed with the different designs of each line. Then I saw the grotesque Savior Cathedral. And on its side was a concert with a tenor and a soprano singing Russian songs with the orchestra. Russians are extravagant with the celebration, making the people happy and safe..a lot of police around everywhere.
This tour is worth every penny...And mind you...my guides were also my photographers. How convenient was that

We took a 2 day walking tour of Moscow using the famed subway as transit. Our 2 guides , 1 for each day, Victoria and Lena were both fantastic. The spoke English well and we're knowledgeable about the city and it's past. We especially enjoyed that our interests were incorporated into the tour. We were met at our hotel and escorted back at the end of the day, a nice touch. No complaints from us only kudos.A pleasure!! We took the 2 day walking tour. It was an amazing experience to see many places which would have taken us days to cover. Moscow Metro, Kremlin, Red Square and the churches and cathedrals are all a once in a lifetime experience to see. Galena and Luda both spoke very good English and had an immense knowledge of the history of the places we visited. Overall a great experience. Sudeep and Allen.

My guides, Julia and Anastasia are both good. I enjoyed their company for the 2 days I spent in Moscow.
I would improve the communication prior to the visit because I replied 4 times to Alina before the date confirming the tickets for Kremlin and Armory but she claimed she didn't receive my replies. Using emails when travelling is not ideal, suggest maybe using WhatApp as a better option.

So remember this is a walking tour so if your intention is to cover only the central area around Kremlin, it's a good option. However do not expect much information from the guides, who seem to be college kids who are out to make summer money. They do their best, but given the rich culture of Moscow, it does not feel like you are getting out the best. Also communication was sometimes a problem. Our guide of Day 1 did not relay the change of plans for Day 2 for the new guide, so we wasted almost an hour which results in more than an hour of queue time at the height of the tourist season just trying to meet up with our guide. So we asked our guide to stay in the queue and explored for ourselves, which basically amounted to a self-guided tour. I'd say Uber is a better option.
