Your tour guide for the day will meet you at your collection point, and whisk away into Kent's beautiful countryside. Known as the garden of England, Kent is renowned for it's rolling hills and ideal fruit growing conditions, including grapes!
We'll take you to 3-4 local vineyards, visiting both big and small producers, all with varying wine styles and products. This will give you a really good insight into English wine, where we are now and how the industry is growing in the UK. You'll get to try an array of wines at the cellar door*, while your tour guide tells you all about the history of the individual producers and the local area itself.
There a many vineyards in the Kent area, so we can give you options as to which vineyard to visit or recommend a set route. Vineyards include Chapel Down Winery, The Hush Heath Estate, The Gusbourne Estate, Wood Church Wines, Biddenden Vineyard, Oxney Organic, Sedlescombe Organic and Carr Taylor.
The day includes a picnic lunch, served of course with a glass of English Wine. You can also upgrade to a pub-lunch, once you have made the initial booking.
