The louvre is a very special place. Like any good museum it requires time noir guide was very knowledgeable both in art and in the history of the collections. Great job under difficult conditions!

With some trepidation, I booked a guide for the Louvre tour, not knowing if we could stay the course. Half term so hugely busy and more so as a Monday when many other museums closed. Our guide was brilliant: passionate, enthusing sans arret and drawing in even the youngest of the group. He made everything come alive and we will be talking of our Louvre experience for many months/years to come. Thank you!

Our guide, Jean Louis was fantastic - it’s the only way to navigate the Louvre - he shared incredible history and was personable too;))

We really enjoyed the tour. For us it was great because we wanted to spend a lot of time in the Louvre. However if your tight on time you may want to consider doing this where you have a 3-4 hour window. It just takes time walking as a group to the entrance, getting everyone through security, etc. Again, we loved it and believe we got more then we paid for.

Probably the best tour we’ve had in years, our guide was outstanding, keep the attention of my teenage daughters, tons of great info and tips. My only hiccup was I did not read the directions for the location for our meeting place and assumed it was the museum, when it was around the corner!

Given the great size and encyclopedic nature of the Louvre, not to mention the vast lines to gain entry...a skip the line tour with a guide that can lead you directly to the highlights is extremely worthwhile. I
might still be wandering the halls and galleries right now if it weren’t for this tour!!! Our guide clearly had an extensive knowledge of art history and was able to explain things to everyone in a clear and simple manner while taking us to see some of the can’t miss highlights (ie the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, etc). That being said however, I felt like she spent more time then necessary in some lesser galleries discussing artists and works that I didn’t necessarily share the same passion for. Overall however this didn’t diminish the tour by that much and I would highly recommend for any first time Louvre visitor.

Guide seemed tired; was entertaining but the walk was too much for her. Knowledgeable but not enthusiastic enough.

Nov 2019

The ease of the tour was good; however, our guide (Francois) spent far too much time on the intricacies of the art itself rather than showing us the art pieces. It felt like we were in Art Appreciation 101. Would rather have seen more pieces with less detail. Don't mind some detail, but this was way too much. It was 45 minutes before we even started to get inside the building.

I was told the wrong arrival time, so I arrived at the office much too early. There was no toilette at the office, and the places to sit and wait were very uncomfortable. The guide arrived late. We did not walk through the Tuilleries Gardens was the tour description promised. The guide however was very knowledgable.

Missed are tour the meeting site was hard to find. The directions where poor and gauge. Unless you know the area it’s hard to find. Next time I will find another company very disappointed .
