Travel by boat and see the sights from the water
Start your day with pickup at the Victoria Coach Station in central London, and then travel by air-conditioned coach to St. Paul's Cathedral. Spend the morning there, then travel to Westminster Abbey where Prince William married Kate Middleton in a lavish royal wedding ceremony in 2011. Pose for photos outside the Gothic crowd pleaser. Head to the Mall outside Buckingham Palace to watch the legendary Changing of the Guard ceremony. Accompanied by a military band, soldiers from the Queen’s Foot Guard march in time to drumbeats, performing a ceremonial ritual that dates back centuries.

Move on to the Tower of London, a former prison, fortress and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit sites like Traitor’s Gate, the Torture Exhibition and, of course, the glittering Crown Jewels – a collection of irreplaceable and historic items. Spend some free time here exploring and eating lunch.

Hop aboard a sightseeing boat for a short trip down the River Thames. Cruise down the river, looking out for the top London attractions such as  Shakespeare’s Globe, and then step out onto dry land.

Finish your tour back at the start point or alternatively, upgrade to finish on a high note with one of two optional activities. Options include an afternoon tea on the Thames River or a must-do London Eye flight, for picture-perfect views over the capital. Both activities include transport to the attraction, but no transport back.

Please note: If your tour falls on a date when the Changing of the Guard ceremony is not taking place, you will stop at Buckingham Palace for photos

Great tour and I felt I was able to see what I needed to. Our guide was amazing and the tour felt very personal. I would say we were smart. We skipped the Crown Jewels and saw the rest of the Tower of London instead. It was tons of fun.

Really enjoyed this tour. It was my 2nd time to London after 20 yrs. My 3 travel companions had never been to London, so it was fun to revisit places I had been and see their reactions to all the wonderful sights for their first time. Really liked the Tower of London and Jewels of course, Thames river ride and the London Eye option. A very good first day recap to see where the places are and to make note of places you want to come back to.

Excellent tour - well worth the time. I thought it would be too much in a day but the pace was perfect. I was a little concerned about the boat portion of the tour given that this was wintertime. However, the accommodations were great...very comfortable.

Tour was perfect for a first time Londner. Was able to see the City, get into the Tower to see the Jewels and listen to it's awesome history. The guide was wonderful, got us in an area to see the chnaging of the guard which was super crowded. The Thames River and other stops were highlights. I also chose the Eye ticket as well, which is another can't miss. Great tour if you only have one day or a limited amount of time

This was a 5 star tour. A full busy day taking in major sights. With only 2 days in London this was a perfect tour for the four of us. Highly recommend this tour.

Not enough time at Tower of London

Great way to start a London tour. Be aware the the changing of the guard does not occur every day during November. Our guide did point out best place to stand to see it and not having to stay for whole thing. But, we personally didn't feel it was worth making a special visit later in the week.

Loved Tower of London and the Thames River cruise - especially enjoyed the formal tea option we had on the boat - finger sandwiches, clotted cream, scones, champagne, and, of course, tea.

Ends at the London Eye - it was an option to this tour - however, we returned on a different day to ride it and we highly recommend it as well.

Some walking to get to Buckingham Palace from the bus. Great Guide - recommend this tour.
