Description
Start your day trip from central London and travel to Burford in the Cotswolds, where the town’s magnificent high street features every variety of Cotswold stone. You'll have time to visit the town's small tea houses before continuing to Bibury for a short walking tour around the village.

Lunch beckons and what better way to satisfy your hunger than with a fabulous 2-course lunch in the heart of the Cotswolds? The hotel restaurant boasts a spectacular oak-beamed ceiling and a huge stone fireplace bearing supposed witches' marks, and serves a fabulous range of traditional food, including classic bread and butter pudding for dessert.

Continue to Bourton-on-the-Water in the afternoon, and stretch your legs during a brief 1-hour break. Then, journey onward to your final stop at lovely Stow-on-the-Wold. Use your free time in the village to explore at leisure and scout out the charming cafes, souvenir shops and photo-worthy limestone houses that line the streets.

Leave Stow-on-the-Wold in the late afternoon, and travel back to Victoria in central London where your tour finishes.

This was a delightful day. Lucy did a fine job of sharing historical and interesting tidbits. It has only wet my whistle to return to the area and spend more time in the region. It was a refreshing break from the fast pace of London.

perfect day...!

This was a wonderful opportunity to see probably the most beautiful countryside outside of London. The tour was perfect in every way. A trip to the UK made especially nice with an opportunity to visit the Cotswolds. Our tour guide was wonderful.

Lovely trip even though it was snowy. The luncheon of the fresh trout farmed right there was an added bonus. Our guide Lucy was great!

Excellent trip! Our tour guide was David and he was the BEST tour guide ever! He was so knowledgeable and shared so much information with us and stayed with us and guided us to make sure we got back to our bus on time. The meal was great and the location beautiful!

This tour was amazing!

Really delightful day spent in the countryside with a wonderful guide and driver. Only complaint is that it was one village too long. Had we gone to just 3 villages instead of 4 would have enjoyed it more. As the tour was 10 hours long, by the end most of us just wanted to get home.

The stops on the tour are amazing and the tour guide and driver were wonderful. Very informative and accommodating. I would say that all people on the tour should be warned not to be late back to the bus as I believe this cuts the time short for every one on the subsequent stops. The lunch portion was super small and the restaurant got many orders wrong for vegetarian meals. Due to the short amount of free time, my husband and I did not even wait for dessert to be served , so we could spend more time outdoors. We had been in the restaurant about 45 minutes and still no dessert. A restaurant outdoors for lunch would be more ideal.

Tour of Cotswolds was very good. Guide Lucy an archaeologist was very knowledgeable. Only complaint is that the coaches don't have on-board toilets as most do in the US. That made for a dash for the public toilets at each stop.

Very enjoyable and well organized tour. Tour guide Lucy was pleasant and Martin was a very good driver. Bus was clean and comfortable. Lunch was very tasty. Choices were trout, ham or vegetarian stew. Wish we had been made aware in the pre tour correspondence that no hot beverages were allowed on the coach because we had just purchased coffees inside the Victoria coach station prior to boarding. also be sure to arrive early if you wish to sit with your travel companion on the journey.
