This was a splendid experience! The cruise on the Seine river on a sunny day was unforgettable. The tour guide was very informative and provided us tickets for every entrance that needed ticket. The experience of having lunch on Eiffel Tower is unforgettable. There was not enough time left to go inside the Louvre museum, but that takes at least a day. I suggest this tour if you have to visit these important places in Paris in a short time.
My wife and I started the tour from London. Our guide Charlotte was amazing. She shared so much history and with her native French accent made it more enjoyable. Saw so much of Paris in a day. I recommend this tour, but be ready to walk.
We spent a great day traveling from London to Paris and our tour guide did a great job keeping track of all of us and making sure that we were well taken care of.
This was an amazing day. We were in London for four days and having never been in Europe before we decided to make this one day trip to Paris. It was perfectly planned and allowed us to see as much as possible in one day. We had a beautiful lunch on the river cruise as well. V our tour guide was wonderful and Anna who assisted V was also amazing. She helped me make some last minute upgrades on the Eurostar and she was extremely pleasant. and professional. Lovely girl. I totally enjoyed this day, it was one of the highlights of our European Trip! I highly recommend taking it if you have the time. Well worth it.
This trip was fast paced and we packed a lot into one day. The train trip was uneventful a good thing and our guide was with us pretty much every step of the way. The Seine boat ride was very nice, lunch at the Eiffel Tower was good, but our time at the Louvre was cut a little short due to fellow passengers being late to the bus leaving the Eiffel Tower. Tip: don't be those people. This was just a taste of Paris but enough to whet my appetite for more.
Was a great tour. Actually having lunch at the Eiffel Tower was fun, but the food itself was nothing that great. Would have liked a little more free time at the Eiffel Tower which maybe could have been done by shortening the tour around the city. The river cruise was great and the Eurostar train was super! Would still recommend this tour!
The tour moves at a fast pace so if you are just looking for highlights then this works. The boat ride was pleasant. The lunch was bland chicken, not what I thought Paris would have to offer at the Eiffel tower. Two different meeting places were given to start the tour and multiple tours meet there so it is confusing and we ended up in the wrong line at first. The guide was good but very hard to hear in the Louvre.
It should say Paris day trip with lunch on a river boat as you're not going to get within a mile of the Eiffel tower
We were quite disappointed in this tour. They canceled our lunch on the Eiffel Tower without notifying us. If we had known, we would have scheduled a different tour. To be fair, it says the lunch may be unavailable, but be aware it probably happens more than it indicates and without notification. They did upgrade us to lunch on the river cruise, but we were placed in the middle of the boat with a limited view of the attractions. The luncheon didnt make up for our disappointment in not having a champagne lunch on the Eiffel Tower. :-
Overall, this was a good tour to get a small taste of Paris. We enjoyed the lunch at the Eiffel Tower and took the opportunity to go with our guide on a private tour of the Louvre. There are some things to know, however. It's long day 6 am to about 8:30 pm and a lot of the time is taken up by logistics. Note to Viator - Unfortunately, upon arriving to Paris the bus was not there to pick up our group and we waited about 40 minutes on the street. All in all, we had roughly 3 hours of actual activity - 1 hr Siene boat cruise nice, 1 hr Eiffel Tour lunch very good, and 1 hr at the Louvre for 80 euro extra, 2 ppl recommend. The rest of the time was train, traffic, and security for Eiffel Tower. Some people in our group opted to split off once we got to Paris and did their own thing relaxing lunch at a cafe, shopping etc and they seemed to enjoy the day a lot more than we did. If you are travel savvy, one could easily get to Paris taking Eurostar on your own and probably spend less. Also, be prepared to move fast. A few in our group could not walk fast and had a hard time making it to the meeting point on time. We do not have any issues, but still found it fast paced even for us Last point - bring your own food for the train ride. You will not have time to get anything in Paris before boarding on the way back and the food on the train is not very good. Overall, if you only have a day to get to Paris and are not comfortable doing it on your own, this tour will work and you'll get a feel for whether you might want to come back for a longer visit. If I were to do it again, I would look into other tours or see what it would take to do on my own.
