Great way to see London from the river. Different perspective totally and more relaxing than all the street traffic!
We enjoyed the Thames River Cruise; however, we really did not need the day pass. We spent much more time on land seeing sites. If doing again, we would purchase just a one way fare and ride the main length of the river. If you want a lazy day and to just sit, then this attraction would be for you.
I thoroughly enjoyed my cruise. The ability to hop on and off was magical. I was able to spend time looking at the things I wanted to. The commentary on the boat was also excellent. The chap spoke well, slowly, audibly and we all enjoyed him.
Great way to see all the top London landmarks/attractions, had loads of great photos and live commentary very informative and at times funny would recommend
Very nice boat trip. Greenwich was worth visiting.
A great tour! Being able to hop-on and hop-off was great. I recommend doing this tour early in your trip so you can get an idea of the layout of London and the major sites.
We would never miss an opportunity to take the Thames River Cruise! It is relaxing, it's a chance to rest your legs after busy London walking excursions, and it's absolutely wonderful to see the buildings and architecture along the water...fully explained by booklets with maps, and if lucky, an on-board narrator! The price is super affordable and because it is a hop-on Hop-off, you can customize it to your own timetable. There is a snack bar, so a little bag of munchies and cold drink or cup of tea make the cruise that much more enjoyable!
Tour is great, HOWEVER...Viator does NOT give you a ticket. You get a voucher for a ticket and have to wait in line with everyone else to get your day ticket. As I did not understand that, I waited twenty minutes in line and missed the boat and had to wait another 40 minutes for the next one.. No biggie, but I wish I knew
The boat was very clean and comfortable. Very easy access to the pier and boarding was a breeze. Overall, a great experience. My only concern, and perhaps my misunderstanding....the last cruise from Greenwich that returns to Greenwich ends at 1530. We could only go as far as Tower Pier, had about 15-20 minutes there in order to get back to our original boarding pier. This caused us to miss some of the best sites along the river. I think the advertisement is somewhat misleading in that respect. My advice, if leaving from Greenwich, and you want the full experience, catch the earliest departure at 10:00. Otherwise you will pay for an expensive, yet limited cruise.
I was told the only available option was hop on and hop off. However when i got to the pier i was told there were plenty of other options still available. Compete misrepresentation of the facts.
Not to mention prior to paying for the ticket there wasn’t any mention of needing to print a ticket. When traveling how can anyone reasonably expect a tourist to have access to a printer, which was a must to redeem this ticket.
I requested a refund refund and was told the tickets are non refundable.
