Make your own way to the Embankment Pier in central London and board your comfortable sightseeing cruise boat. Then, settle at your white linen-covered table in the interior cabin, and enjoy the views through the picture windows as your boat follows a round-trip route along the Thames River.

Stay inside or head for the upper observation deck with your camera as you glide past a roll call of London landmarks. Absorb views of the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye, drift by the Tower of London, and admire the aptly-named ‘Gherkin’ building, St Paul’s Cathedral and soaring glass spire of The Shard, London’s newest architectural icon.

As you cruise, enjoy a quintessentially English afternoon tea set to soft piano music from the resident pianist. Savor freshly cut finger sandwiches, exquisite cakes and fluffy scones served with dollops of Cornish clotted cream and strawberry preserves, all arranged on dainty cake stands and accompanied by freshly brewed tea and coffee, fresh from the pot. Just remember to crook your little finger in true English aristocratic style as you lift your cup! See the Itinerary for a sample menu.

After your 1.5-hour cruise, catch your last views of London from the water as your boat arrives back at its starting point. Your tour ends when you step back ashore.

Wonderful cruise around the River Thames. The tea and food was delicious. The extra money spent for the window seat was worth it. Best views possible.

This was a great cruise, and a nice little treat for my wife's 30th. We booked the window seat and a glass of Champagne which we thought was good value for the extra 10 each. The food was lovely and there was a vast choice of tea's and coffee's. My pot of tea was refilled twice at no extra cost. The staff were very pleasant from the moment we checked in. They were incredibly welcoming and friendly and our waiter was great. I would definitely recommend!

The London Thames River Afternoon Tea Cruise was the highlight of our trip to London. Bateaux/London Catamaran Cruisers did an amazing job. The cruise was lovely and it gives you a totally different perspective of London. It was leisurely, clean and well done. As for the tea itself, it was delicious and well presented. White table cloths with spotless cutlery added to this delightful afternoon. The menu consisted of Smoked salmon, Wiltshire Ham, cucumber and dill and egg mayonnaise with cress, cut in small tea sandwiches, scones with Cornish Clotted cream and strawberry preserve and three small deserts, lemon meringue tart, dark chocolate mousse with marshmallow and carrot cake. A teapot for each table and it is replenished continuously, we had three pots!! There was a gentleman playing the piano which added to the wonderful atmosphere. The crew and staff were professional and friendly. We did the Premier Afternoon tea and crusise which gave us a glass of champagne and a reserved window seat. I highly recommend this afternoon of delight!

This was a great way to end our trip to London. Relaxing and the view from the river is fantastic to see the London skyline.

A highly enjoyable afternoon sailing down the Thames on the very posh boat Harmony. Everything about the trip was very professionally managed from the check-in on Embankment Pier and being seated on your table. The staff were both friendly and efficient, helping with all your requirements, taking photos for you etc. The food was plentiful and of an excellent standard, the scones in particular were very fresh and tasty. The afternoon was accompanied by a piano recital, again high quality. After eating it is nice to be able to go outside and onto the roof of the boat covered with artificial grass! for a breath of fresh air and to take more photos. Altogether a most enjoyable afternoon which we would heartily recommend.

The tea and the cruise were lovely. Disappointed that we dressed for tea and many people did not. Were allowed on with shorts, jeans, sneakers etc. Everything we were told not to wear

Unfortunately, we specifically booked a window table for our afternoon tea. When my husband and I arrived, we were seated in the middle. The cruise was fully booked therefore the manager was not able to move us to a window table as requested. Not sure what went wrong with the booking. The food and champagne was excellent and the service was great too. Just be sure you reconfirm your booking if you decide to get a window table.

Overall a decent trip, sandwich quite poor as not much to eat, supposed to be narration but there was none and we arrived back to dock 15mins early, would probably reached Greenwich in that time.
