Board a coach in central London in the morning, pop in your state-of-the-art Vox headphones and relax on the drive out of the busy city and into the scenic English countryside. Enjoy clear, crisp commentary about the sights from your guide, piping straight into your personal earbuds, adjusting the volume to your preferences. On the way, you’ll drive through Greenwich, home of the Royal Observatory and the Prime Meridian, where the world’s time is set.

Arrive at Leeds Castle before the crowds arrive for a tour of the 12th-century castle and grounds. Leeds Castle is picture-perfect, set in a shimmering lake and surrounded by idyllic greenery that spans 500 acres (202 hectares). Inside, admire a superb collection of medieval furniture and tapestries and Impressionist art, and learn how the castle has traded hands over the centuries. Stop by the bird aviary and try your hand at the castle's popular maze formed by towering hedges.
Next, head to Canterbury Cathedral, a stunning UNESCO World Heritage–listed Gothic church built in the 11th century. Canterbury Cathedral is considered the birthplace of English Christianity, so it comes with some fascinating history. With your Vox headphones, your guide has the unique privilege of leading your large group into the quiet cathedral for a tour of the treasures that lie inside.
Re-board the coach for a drive through the Kent countryside, known as the Garden of England, with its quaint villages and pretty landscapes. Reach the coast to admire the White Cliffs of Dover — towering chalk-white cliffs overlooking the historic English Channel. Look up to see England's largest castle, Dover Castle, looming on the hilltop.

After a day full of sightseeing, arrive back in London in the evening.

The trip was fantastic. What really made this trip amazing was Oliver Simmons, our guide. He educated us not only about our tour but London itself. So knowledgeable! Also a huge shoutout to our driver, Steve. Made a special stop at Battle of Britain Memorial. Both of these gentlemen made the trip so memorable.

Very enjoyable tour, nice way to see areas of England outside of London.

Perfect day trip! The Leeds Castle, Canterbury and Dover were the best and also just driving through the English countryside was so beautiful too! Tour guide was so informative and witty! I enjoyed every word! Highly recommend!

We wanted to get from London to Dover to catch our cruise ship--this was a GREAT way to get there! You have to coach to Dover anyway, without private transportion, so CATCH THIS TOUR! It is a relaxing ride with three very interesting stops! Leeds Castle is in use, well kept and therefore interesting how it operates. The grounds welcome visitors. Nice to have lunch at Canterbury and see the historic Cathedral which dominates the very small, charming town- we wanted to stay longer. We pre-arranged for our tour bus to drop us off as we drove through Dover. We stayed in Dover 2 nights at the Premier Inn before catching our cruise ship in this small port - all was very easy! Dover is a small, delightful, historic well-run port, much as it has always been- and well worth a day and a half between travels to tour the genius White Cliffs of WWII and the town beach- the ferry to the coast leaves from here also. Found good Italian food here! Take this tour for a relaxing day trip to the southern coast to and from London- or get off in Dover to catch your ship or ferry!

The tour starts with Leeds Castle where there's plenty of time to walk through the castle and then take a picture from the opposite bank to capture the entire castle. Then on to Cantebury where they offer to take you to lunch at your own expense. It's touristy food - fish and chips or pot pie and local ciders and beers. If you skip the lunch, the tour guide can take you directly to the cathedral where you can walk through on your own. You end up missing the tour guide's commentary, but then you'll have time for a fast food lunch on the way back to the bus. On my particular trip, we didn't end up making it to Dover as there was congestion at the Euro tunnel and we couldn't get to the cliffs in time and had to turn back. A nice excursion outside of central London. I hope to make it to Dover some other time.

Our guide was great! He was personable, funny and informative. My comments relate to the pacing of the tour. Leeds Castle and Gardens was by far the star of the show! Leeds is just spectacular and I would suggest allocating more time to Leeds. Canterbury- I would suggest less time. See the beautiful cathedral but spend less time, particularly inside. Cliffs of Dover - little time there and we couldn't see much. I suggest going to a vantage point where the white cliffs are more visible.

First, we were 20 minutes late departing due to disorganization. We were disappointed at eat place. We were at Leeds Castle for about an hour. The castle itself, was not what we expected. The exterior is gorgeous. The interior was modified over the years for the family life and is decorated pretty poorly and not all that interesting. Dover for 20 minutes (standing miles away where you needed binoculars to see it). Canterbury about 45 minutes (they gave us 20 minutes on our own, but that included the 10 minutes it took to get back to the bus.)

The tour guide was not all that knowledgeable. He didn't share a lot of history. Some of what he did share, I know was incorrect. Also, this company allowed one family to bring a 21 month-old on the trip. He was right behind us. The family was amusing him by singing
