Enjoyed the Jack the Ripper walking tour on a cool, drizzly September eve with tour guide Angie. Her theatrics set the mood.
Loved the details around the Ripper murders and locations.
Not sure what I was expecting as my daughter is the one that wanted to go on this tour. The guide was a Jack the Ripper researcher so she knew her facts and stories. Not a lot of the originally buildings but she did a nice job making it feel like you were there with pictures and stories. Photos of the victims were a little gruesome so be warned. Overall worth the walk.
I was promised when I called to book 8that there would be a maximum of 15 people and I counted 30. The guide was an excellent speaker and his voice carried well however he wore a dark outfit with no identifying or bright hat he was hard to spot in that big crowd. The thing that almost wrecked my whole tour was that it started at a different place because of road construction that was understandable however I was not notified of the different location I only found it by asking a street merchant who gave a guess and it happened to be the right guess that if I went to the nearest landmark the tour would be there so I could have lost the whole tour
