This tour was fast moving and covered a lot of ground over the course of the day. While you could not spend must time at each site it did allow us to get a flavor of the beautiful city of London. The simple box lunch that was included was pretty basic but did save us time and allowed more time to see the sights. If you only have one full day to see and explore London then I would highly recommend this tour. Our local guide, Ruth, and coach driver, Massimo, did a great job!
Very well organised and guided tour. The guide was excellent.Recommended tour for all ages. Please keep it up.
Antonio our tour guide was very informative. Despite all the traffic, he got us to Buckingham Palace in time to see the changing of the guard. Although the weather didn't cooperate with our visit, we still enjoyed seeing all of the sights of London.
Really enjoyed our full day tour. Godfrey, our guide, was friendly and informative. During the river cruise, we stopped at Greenwich, which I don't recall seeing in the description. What a great surprise to see the famous Cutty Sark ship and stand on the Prime Meridian location. Topping off the trip with the London Eye made the day even better.
This tour was quite inclusive with numerous activities and sites in a day. Our guide gave good information and answered questions. She was diligent in making sure we saw everything that was expected and that we got to Buckingham Palace in time to find as good a location as possible to view the changing of the guard.
Our Total London Experience tour was most enjoyable....our guide “Rick” was very knowledgeable in every aspect of this tour, great personality and wonderful person to talk to. Great tour to take for those with a limited time in London.
This was a really good tour. The tour guide was superb and watched after us and explained the historical aspects of buildings. I would have really like to tour inside Buckingham Palace so that's why no 5 circle rating.
The tour was excellent, David the tour guide was also excellent great value for money we would have liked to have more time at the Tower of London to get around everywhere due to the time it took to get into see the Crown Jewels. David's tips about where to stand for the changing of the guard was a great tip.Overall it was an excellent day and good value for money.
The day started with a late checkin and late departure. Early on, the bus was told that we picked a bad day because there was a half marathon, protesters and rain in the area. We did not see Big Ben or the changing of the guard. Since it was a Sunday, we also did not get the tour of St Paul’s cathedral. The lunch was a small cheese sandwich. Overall the tour was not a good value for the money spent. My confirmation said to expect a 6PM return but we were done by 4. The bus left us after the morning so personal items had to be carried the remainder of the trip. My expectation was that the Thames river would have narration to point out the sites but none was provided as the group was spread out in the river taxi.
Our day started badly with our guide seeming to have a problem checking in the last group of travelers, some had premium seats but the rest also wanted to sit with them. Getting them on the bus kept us late. The Boss appeared and gave them the option to travel, or not. Our guide, Susan, appeared to waste time, e.g. when we arrived at the Tower of London, she talked for a while before telling us that she had to go and check that we would all get on to the boat we were booked on to take us to Greenwich. Off she went. When she eventually came back, she then told us that she had to go and get our tickets for the Tower. Off she went again. We wasted a full half hour waiting around. When touring St Paul's or the Tower, if you were not right next to her, it was a waste of time, as you couldn't hear what she was saying. When we got to Greenwich, she took us in the opposite direction, to sit us all down and tell us repeatedly, that she was going to give out the London Eye tickets and that we should make sure we do not lose them as they were very expensive. Repeated.....Then it was time to go to our destination. Why, when we got off the boat could we not have gone to find out about Greenwich meantime straight away, and been given our London Eye tickets whilst waiting for the Thames cruise part of the tour. We were told that we wouldn't have to wait when we got to the London Eye, as our tickets meant we didn't have to queue....that's a laugh. Poor guide. A lot of wasted time. Packed lunch was quite acceptable. Places and events covered were good. Bus driver was good.
