Oxford was not in my plan originally. I couldn't buy WB studio ticket anywhere else so I booked this tour. I'm really glad that i did. Oxford is so beautiful in fall and the weather is great on the day we visited. Our tour guide Katie told us many interesting stories about Oxford. She is really nice and friendly. The Warner Bros Studio tour is a great experience. We had about four hours to explore the place. Overall it was a great experience.
The Oxford guided tour and time for exploration/lunch was just right. We got to see a good amount of the colleges and heard a good deal of history--both Oxford and Harry Potter--from our guide, Debbie. The time at the studio was amazing, though if you want to spend a bit of time at each exhibit, you may want to choose a different tour so you can take longer. Four hours felt so short! And the line at the gift shop checkout was long, though it moved fairly quickly.
Most coolest Guide "Chris" we have had yet! He was an encycolpedia of information in regards to all thngs Harry Potter and all things BOOKS and All this Oxford. Please try and get him if you want to see Oxford but only have a short time to see it.
My son and I, as well as my grandchildren ages 9 and 12 who are avid Harry Potter fans, not only LOVED the Harry Potter segment,
but fell in love with Oxford and all the wonderful stories about this incredibly fantastic institution as told by Debbie, our guide in Oxford! The driver was terrific and Valentina, our guide on the bus, was quite informative! I would rate this tour a 10+.....Barbara from Belle Harbor, Queens, NY
This was a great tour. The time allocated to Oxford and Warner Bros visits was just right for a fun and relaxing day. Edward our tour guide was knowledgeable and professional. The coach was clean and comfortable, and the driver very pleasant. Compared to tours which we took with other companies, this one run by International Friends stood out as excellently organised and run. I am very happy to recommend this tour and company!
We were told that we would have 4 hours at the Studio and to realize that we were only half way through when we were at the Café. I couldn't imagine what would take that long. Yes, you could spend more that 4 hours since there is just so much to see. From the sets like Hagrid's Hut to Privet Drive, from the costumes to the making of monsters, 4 hours flies by in a blink. It is a very long day, but I am happy we visited Oxford too. It is the unexpected bonus to the tour. The tour was fantastic.
We booked the Making of Harry Potter and Oxford Day Trip from London simply as a part of our "bucket list", but it turned out to be more than expected. The Viator crew was prompt, efficient and thoroughly professional. The tour leader was very knowledgeable and provided a smooth experience. We worth the money, especially if you have time limitations and would like to see a lot in a short time. Great day!
Myself and my 3 kids visited Warner Bros studios as part of a tour we had booked, my kids love Harry Potter they grew up with the movies and loved it ever since. The experience is simply breathtaking it’s more than what I expected and you feel your in film it’s so lifelike and real. We had the Beerbutter and Ice cream but for parents with kids like me take a packed lunch as food prices are simply outrageous and unaffordable for many families that is the only downside to this trip. We went away full of wonderful memories that will last us a lifetime, my advice if you can afford to go then please do your kids will thank you for it.
The people for this tour was very helpful. OUr tour guide Rob was very helpful. He worked with us to meet us at the location since we arrived that day and we could not meet them at the meeting point. However he was always on communication until we to the warner studios to start the tour. Once the tour was over he took his time to take us the place where we could get a cab to take us to our hotel to check in.
We had a Great time in Oxford. Our guide had terrific historical and modern information about the city and school and tied it in with Harry Potter sites as well. The Harry Potter studio was a great self guided tour of the sets, costumes, and making of the movie.
