Description
Meet your guide outside the Tower of London in the morning. Receive your early access ticket, then listen to your guide’s commentary before heading inside to explore independently. Bypass any entrance lines and step straight inside to see the opening ceremony. You’ll also be one of the first to enter the Jewel House, where the Crown Jewels — a dazzling collection of jewels still used today by Queen Elizabeth II — have been stored since 1303. You may also witness the opening ceremony, performed by the Yeoman Warders, or ‘Beefeaters.’

Stroll along the East Wall Walk for bird’s-eye views of the city streets, and see the ravens that have lived here since the reign of King Charles II. Visit the White Tower, Medieval Palace and Traitors’ Gate, and see the Tower Green where a string of traitors and monarchs, including Anne Boleyn, were executed.

After your visit, meet back up with your guide and head to a nearby pier where a cruise boat awaits. Hop aboard and find yourself a spot on deck, then have your camera ready as you set off on a 30-minute Thames River cruise. Listen to your guide share interesting details about the sights you see including St Paul’s Cathedral, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.

Disembark at Embankment Pier, then stroll with your guide to Buckingham Palace or Horse Guards Parade to watch the Changing of the Guard. Listen to your guide talk about the ceremony’s history, then watch as the crimson-clad Queen’s Foot Guards or the Household Cavalry perform this impressive procedure.

Finish your tour outside Buckingham Palace. See the balcony where the British Royal Family appear during major events, and hear tales of murderous intruders and amorous princes scaling the walls to get both in and out.

Please note: If there is heavy rain — or if the Changing of the Guard is rescheduled to early morning — the ceremony will be replaced with an extended walking tour.

The last time we came to London, the line to get into the tower was over 2 hours long - I so wish we had known about the early access tickets! We were able to get up close and personal with the jewel exhibits, armour, and other pieces without feeling rushed our crowded. We got some amazing pictures of the winding alleyways throughout the tower with not a single person in them. It was an amazing time. Our boat tour and walking tour around Buckingham was charming, due to Amber's personality and knowledge of all things London. She is a great asset to your company and this city!

Amber was fantastic with her knowledge of the history of London, and cruise of the Thames. We got early access to the Tower and Crown Jewels. Missed the crowds by taking the Viator tour. Buckingham Palace, and changing of the horseguards was great! Amber was very knowledgeable and patient with those who had difficulty walking.

We had a great tour. Our tour guide was very informative with great presentation. We were so lucky that we saw the Queen drive out of Buckingham Palace. How exciting.

This tour was fantastic. You get to watch a centuries old tower tradition up close and personal and then you basically get the tower to yourself for a bit before the general public gets in. Then you get on a boat and travel up the Thames to Buckinghame Palace for the guard change. It is really a must for fans of English history and/or the monarchy. Gavin (not Kevin) was a fabulous tour guide! He was informative and entertaining. I highly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide Nathaan was the most intellengent, articulate, charming, humours guide ever . I would go on a tour with him anywhere. He truely was the best guide I have ever had. From the history to the details of knowledge. He spoke for two hours and us all entranced the whole time. Very easy to understand and brilliantly preformed.

We had such a blast with Gavin. He is such an incredibly friendly, chatty, and happy fellow who also is incredibly knowledgable of the city. Another perk to this tour was the early access to the Tower of London. There was NO LINES whatsoever to see the Crown Jewels. This tour is worth the money for just that fact alone. I highly recommend this tour...and Gavin with a "G" is phenomenal!

Very interesting insight into Tower of London, meeting and chatting to Beefeaters, followed by a Thames boat ride from the Tower to Embankment, a stroll past beautiful Whitehall Gardens to Horse Guards. Guide Dominic was excellent, informative and even fun.
The tour enabled us to see changing of the guard at Horse Guards, walk up the Mall to near Lancaster House and Clarence House (where Prince Charles and Camilla reside) then to Buckingham Palace for the changing of the guards there.
Later we were able to stroll through the Boardwalk of Green Park, to get away from Buckingham Palace crazy crowds.

Richard was our tour guide he was amazing my mum is still talking about him. He was very informative and also very very kind. He knew my mum was elderly and he really tried his best to help us. What a truly wonderful guide. If you ever go on this tour and Richard is your guide you will really;y have the most wonderful guide so many bits of information and just a really pleasant guide. I had a few things to regret on most of my other tours but there is not even a little negative thing I can say on this tour. Thank you Richard we truly love your tour and would recommend you to everyone we know.

Excellent tour and guide! Kept the attention of my 11 YO. Started at the Tower of London for about an hour, then we took a boat ride on the Thames River, then saw the changing of the guards, then walked to Buckingham Palace. Perfect 4 hours.
