From here we will walk along Londons primary ceremonial road, The Mall which leads to Buckingham Palace but before we get to the home of HRH Queen Elizabeth II, we will see Clarence House, a home with a lengthy Royal history that for many decades was the residence of the Queen Mother.
There is no avoiding the magnificent Buckingham Palace and we will stop here for a while to take some wonderful photos as you learn a little about the home and history of The Queen before we continue past the Royal Mews.
Time to move on from this particular part of London, we head over to another Royal Park, Green Park and along Constitution Hill to a number of marvellous memorials and a fabulous monumental Arch with the largest bronze statue in Europe sat atop.
After stopping at Number 1 London, that’s not just Ye Olde England Tours but also an actual address of a great house that once belonged to the Duke of Wellington, we enter Hyde Park.
When in the middle of Hyde Park you can almost forget that you are in the middle of London with is acres of parkland, meadows, lakes and thousands of trees. It is little wonder that it was once a Royal hunting ground. We will visit the beautiful Serpentine before visiting the Princess Diana Memorial.
Going back 150 years further we go on a little further to see the magnificent Prince Albert Memorial and neighbouring Royal Hall before we finish this private guided tour passing through Kensington Gardens at the front gates of Kensington Palace, official London Royal residence of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
